Mobile storage is like regular storage, except we bring it to you. It is more convenient and cost

No, BOX IT is cheaper as there is no need to hire a driver, truck or pay delivery costs as with other

You can access your BOX IT any time, provided you give us 2 business days’ notice. We will bring your BOX IT to you (charges may apply, speak with a friendly Box ).

Each box typically accommodates an average room to a room and a half of household belongings and are perfect for furniture storage (they easily fit large furniture e.g., a king size mattress). Each BOX IT box is – 2.4m long, 1.5m wide and 2.2m high externally, or 2.32m long, 1.46m wide and 1.98m high internally. Our boxes have a large door for easy access. For more space, simply order more boxes!

Yes, we accept 1 tonne maximum weight per BOX IT. Your Box It will be weighed on collection, but don’t worry – should your Box It be too heavy, we normally have a spare on hand if required!

BOX IT boxes have been custom designed and are built to last. BOX IT boxes are constructed from a galvanised steel frame and high-quality wood composite which is proven to be a stable and durable material to transport and store your belongings in, with reduced chance of mould and mildew due to its breathability.

BOX IT boxes rest off the ground, keeping the box breathing and dry when outside of our undercover, secure waterproof storage facility.

We provide you with 2 padlocks of which only you have access to. Once we collect your BOX IT you can rest assured your belongings are safe in our state of the art, under cover, security monitored storage facility. As you’d expect we undertake all of the proper pest control preventions via licensed and authorised suppliers to ensure the best environment to store your belongings.

Generally, you will need 1 box for every average room to a room and a half of furniture you wish to store. You can always order more than less, as you will not be charged for a delivered box unless you actually use it. Our friendly BOX IT experts are more than happy to assist you with estimating the volume of belongings you need to store.

Your BOX IT will be delivered to your nominated location. The location must comfortably fit an average car, for instance on the street or driveway. We have prepared more information to assist you here. Be sure to contact your local council for permits if required, click here for more information.

Unfortunately not, we will collect your BOX IT within 48 hours or 2 business days of delivery to store at our secure storage facility.

You have 48 hours (2 business days) from delivery to load your BOX IT, then we will pick it up and store it in our secure storage facility. We also have following other delivery options:

Wait on site
If you only have one BOX IT, we can organise a wait on-site option for you. Our driver can wait up to 30 mins free of charge, thereafter $50 is charged every 30 mins.

Same day pick up
In some cases, a same day pick up may be available, speak to our BOX IT experts to find out if this is available in your area.

BOX IT accepts direct debit transfer. When you place your order, you will be charged the first month’s rent, packing supplies and an administration fee (including two padlocks) if applicable. Moving forward, you will receive your monthly invoice and the balance will be charged via direct debit. All fees are due upfront.

For legal and safety reasons you cannot store the following items:

• Firearms or explosives
• Flammable or hazardous goods
• Toxic or contaminated items
• Living plants or animals
• Food or perishable goods
• Illegal items
• Waste

BOX IT has its own insurance policy. We advise insuring your belongings as your house and contents will not cover items in storage.

Organising delivery of BOX IT and your items is easy. Simply call 1300 426 948 and one of our friendly BOX IT experts will book in a convenient date and time your delivery. Please ensure you give us minimum 2 business days’ notice, particularly over the Christmas break, our busiest time of the year.
